Highcliffe Castle is a Grade 1 listed building owned and run by Christchurch Borough Council and located in East Dorset near Christchurch just a stones throw from Hampshire and the New Forest National Park. Romantic and picturesque describes the building, a stunning example of Gothic revival architecture. The driveway that leads up to the castle approaches toward the massive wooden castle door and ornately carved stone facade complete with it's sixteenth century stained glass window.

Civil wedding ceremonies at Highcliffe castle make use of the Winter Garden room, this long thin room is laid out to allow the bride to enter via the large glass doors and then proceed toward the front of the room via the aisle with wedding guests seated each side. Three sides of the Winter Garden room are made up of large, floor to ceiling windows giving a beautiful soft light that filters into the room at all times of year.

Though many couples have their wedding ceremony in the Winter Garden it's also possible to have the wedding reception at Highcliffe Castle and use dining room area for the wedding breakfast which can seat upto 80 guests.

Within easy walking distance just below the castle is Highcliffe beach, wedding images can be taken at the castle and on the sandy beach looking out toward the Isle of Wight and the Needles lighthouse.
